New York: Gay Liberation Front, 1969-72. [400/600] The first issue bears the full title “Come Out: A Newspaper By and For the Gay Community,” while later issues are titled “Come Out: A Liberation Forum for the Gay Community.” Includes Volume 1, issue 1 (14 November 1969) * Volume 1, issue 2 (10 January 1970) * Volume 1, issue 3 (April-May 1970), with horizontal fold through center and short closed tears * Volume 2, issue 7b (Spring-Summer 1971) * Volume 2, issue 8 (Winter 1972). Below the masthead in issue #2 is a plea: “Anyone owning or having access to photographs of the Christopher Street-Stonewall Riots of last summer please call 477-4875 as soon as possible.” Adjacent is a graphic celebrating the upcoming Christopher Street Liberation Day, 29 June 1970. Only 8 issues were published, ending in 1972. OCLC lists no holdings in American libraries, and no other copies have been traced at auction.
