New York: American Bank Note Co., circa 1890 [1,500/2,500] The central map advertises the D & H railroad lines running the course of the Hudson River from New York City to Canada and is bordered by a series of wonderfully chromolithographed views of New York City, Albany, Saratoga, Lake Champlain, Montreal, Lake George, the Adirondack Mountains and Ausable Chasm. The D & H ran as an independent railroad from the 1870’s until 1991, when it was purchased by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
