Silver prints, the images measuring mostly 14x9 inches (35.6x22.9 cm.), and the reverse, with Regan’s and two other photographers’ hand stamps and assorted labels on verso. 1969-early 70s WITH—Group of 9 photographs of rock and cinema stars by Ken Regan. Comprising single prints of Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Roger Daltry, and Gene Simmons, plus 3 of Peter Frampton, and 2 of John Travolta. Silver (7) and RC (2) prints, the images measuring 10x8 to 14x11 inches (25.4x20.3 to 35.6x27.9 cm.), with Regan’s hand stamps and labels on verso. 1970s-80s [2,500/3,500] 401 c   (ANTHROPOLOGY—FACES OF AFRICA) A massive and typological archive including more than 2000 anthropological studies of young Africans, uniformly photographed by Hans Jurgens, and later compiled into the book An Atlas of Mankind: Faces of Africa. Portraying the varied hairstyles, facial features, and occasional scarification as commonly seen among young men, woman, boys and girls, throughout the African culture. Silver prints, the images measuring approximately 3 1 / 2 x2 1 / 2 inches (8.9x6.4 cm.), mounted 2 per index card, mostly depicting a frontal and side view of the same subject, but others with three-quarter poses and detail shots, each with a numeric notation, in ink, and some with a location, in pencil, on mount verso.
