377 c   (TATTOO—GEORGE BONE) A suite of 29 photographs documenting both completed and in-progress tattoos by the London-based artist, George Bone. Featuring views of isolated and colorfully tattooed body parts, ranging from a small, delicate rose upon someone’s ankle bone, to fully colored back-pieces, and a satanic portrait tattooed to an anonymous buttcheek. Chromogenic prints, the images measuring approximately 3 1 / 2 x5 inches (8.9x12.7 cm.), and the reverse, nearly all with Bone’s blind stamp, on recto, and the rest with his hand stamp on verso. 1970s-80s [800/1,200] 378 c   (TATTOO) A suite of 4 photographs of a fully tattooed man, showing his front, back, left, and right sides. Tattoo “Honneur et Fidélité” appears across the top of his stomach alongside numerous traditional tattoos of women, f lowers, and animals.
