With numerous images depicting the sharply dressed (apparent) engineers and architects involved with the project; the heavily mixed workforce digging trenches, pouring concrete, and cautiously navigating the floating dock-like walkway alongside the semi-constructed bridge frame; and a few views of the photographer’s and architect’s office interiors, heavy machinery and local street scenes. Silver prints, the images measuring 6 1 / 2 x9 inches (16.5x22.9 cm.), and the reverse, mounted recto/ verso to thick pages, approximately a quarter with the photographer’s (Fritz) credit in the negative. Oblong 4to, decorative stencil painted boards with a gilt lettered title; ties. 1927-30 [1,500/2,500] 372 c   (FASHION) Group of 25 contact prints of fashionably dressed ladies of the Belle Epoque at Longchamps and Auteuil, including photographs by Henri Meurisse (6) and Henri Manuel (3). Other credits include Keystone, Mondial, L.A.P.I., Interpress, Trampus, and France Presse. Silver prints, the images measuring 6 3 / 4 x4 3 / 4 inches (17.1x12.1 cm.), and slightly smaller, most of the sheets slightly larger, each with a combination of photo agency hand stamps and typed captions and/or caption labels, on verso.
