Arch-topped mammoth-plate albumen print, the image measuring 16 1 / 2 x20 1 / 2 inches (41.9x52.1 cm.), the mount 21 1 / 4 x25 3 / 4 inches (54x65.4 cm.), with Watkins’ signature, in ink, and title “Cascade Nevada,” in pencil, on mount recto. Circa 1861 [20,000/30,000] Acquired from Jonathan Stein; to a Private New York Collector, 1985. This print was featured in the exhibition “Carleton E.
