Np, undated [300/400] The Holzer collection contains several more accomplished paintings of Lincoln, but none can match this one for sheer size. It is unsigned and undated, but the stretchers and nails suggest a late 19th or early 20th century date. 48 c   (PAINTINGS.) Portrait of Lincoln in a brown top hat and cloak. Oil on board, 11 1 / 2 x 9 1 / 4 inches to sight, in frame. Np, undated [200/300] The portrait is freely adapted from Alexander Gardner’s pre-Gettysburg Address photograph (Ostendorf O-77).
