With a number of modernist photomontages showing the before and after of products; views of a selection of the equipment available; and workmen lathing, drilling, and milling metal blocks and components. Silver prints, the images measuring 7x9 inches (17.8x22.9 cm.), linen-backed, approximately half with typed captions on verso, and nearly all with an inventory number in the negative. 4to, brown leatherette, typed label affixed to spine; twin-bolt binding. 1919-20 [1,000/1,500] 341 c   (B.F. GOODRICH COMPANY) An engineer’s album with 37 photographs documenting the expansion and construc­ tion of the B.F. Goodrich plant in Akron, Ohio, including views of the historic smoke stacks. The photographs document the construction of “Building 9-X,” from the foundation to near completion, with chronological construc­ tion views and interior scenes showing barrels and packages of what are presumed to be raw materials. Silver prints, the images measuring 9 1 / 2 x7 1 / 2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), some slightly smaller, and the reverse, linen- backed, and most with notations or dates in the negative.
