closing at the end of the volume. 155 leaves in Ge’ez, with the usual accents and chapter
headings in red ink.; original embossed leather-covered wooden boards with some rubbing
to the spine extremities; leather with warm patina.

A FINE EXAMPLE
of classic Ethiopian Ge’ez Biblical text, with fine superb hand-painted illus-
trations of saints etc. These illustrations may have been added to this volume at a later date, as
is common with many of the Ge’ez books that have apperaed on the recent market.
