Classic illustration from the great American fairy tale.The majority of the original Denslow drawings
for The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) are preserved in the Print Department of The New York
Public Library. Only two other drawings for the iconic classic have ever been sold at auction, that of
Dorothy looking at the feet of the Wicked Witch of the East and the right side of the double-page
spread of the Cowardly Lion being saved by the Field Mice.
