living in GreenwichVillage in the early 1970s.

The letter apologizes for taking too long to pay his bill: “What can you expect from a wild
thing?” A sketch of Wild Thing monter, Moise (in voice balloon): “At least you got a signed
sketch out of it!”Written in green ink on his green stationery. Small 8vo, faded; marginal tape
stains. [1973].
