With approximately 66 photographs documenting the natural gas pipelines, stations, associated support structures, and interiors of plants and power companies as the network travels through Texas (3), Oklahoma (2), Kansas (7), Nebraska (20), Iowa (10), Minnesota (19), and South Dakota (5). Silver prints, 7 1/2x9 1/4 inches (19.1x23.5 cm.), and the reverse, some with light airbrushed retouching, mounted recto only to linen, nearly all with a typed caption, and some with a photographer's studio credit, on mount verso; a few with original glassine interleafing tissue. Oblong 4to, gilt-lettered leatherette with twin-bolt binding; the photographs are grouped by state and separated with tabbed sheets. 1930s
