A charming group, nearly half of which with an Underwood & Underwood credit, of both humorous and cultural images of people smoking, including Native American peace pipes, glamorous actresses posed with cigarette holders, cigarette-smoking soldiers, European pipe smokers, Korean men with long pipes, and dogs dangling cigarettes and pipes. Silver prints, the images measuring 7 7/8 x4 1/8 to 10x8 inches (20x10.5 to 25.4x20.3 cm.), most with a press or photographer hand stamp and/or date hand stamp, and more than half with newspaper clippings or caption labels, on verso. 1920-80
