A group of 28 select press prints related to post-war atomic bomb testing, primarily in the United States.
Including a bomb on display at Los Alamos Scientific Laborary Museum, a "clean" nuclear bomb, stills from film made in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, testing sites, interiors of various fallout shelters popularized for personal use, testing explosions and a mushroom cloud, the aftermath at Bikini Atoll, and shelter drills. Silver press and silver wire service prints, the images measuring 7½x9½ inches (19.1x24.1 cm.), and slightly smaller, and the reverse, some with captions in the negative, and others with mimeographed caption labels, press clippings, hand stamps, date stamps, and/or notations, in pencil and/or ink, on verso; enclosed in a contemporary binder. 1961-84
