Album entitled Photographs Shewing Arrangements at The Surrey Commercial Docks for Warehousing and Handling Canadian Produce.
With 18 handsome photographs showcasing massive warehouses, docks, and ships, some images including warehouse workers and other figures. Most of the images having to do with unloading cheese from the ships, transporting it through the warehouses, to cold storage, including conveyor belts and other methods of moving the large wheels. With three "Anticipatory Sketches" mounted at the rear. Platinum prints, the images measuring approximately 7¼x9¼ inches (18.4x23.5 cm.), and the reverse, one 3¾x9 3/8 inches (9.5x23.8 cm.), on white mounts that are slightly larger, mounted recto only to thick gray pages with the gilt-lettered caption, the Surrey Commercial Dock credit, and the Engineer's Department credit, on mount recto. Large oblong gilt-lettered folio, lightly edge worn; a personalized gift plate with the printed date on the front pastedown. 1906
