An album of approximately 90 photographs depicting the construction of the J.H. and C.K. Eagle Silk Mill in Shamokin, PA in its various stages.
The photographs document the construction of the silk mill from foundation to completion in chronological construction views, including sweeping photographs of the area, raw materials, workers laying foundation, steel framing, and brick-laying. Silver prints, the images measuring 10½x13½ inches (26.7x34.3 cm.), linen backed, most with dates in the negative and a Thomas hand stamp on verso. Oblong folio, gilt-pictorial leatherette; tie binding. 1916 and 1924
