Everest, and remote areas in Ceylon. With sweeping views of massive forts, palaces, mosques, tombs, and mausoleums, as well as multiple sun-drenched scenes of the Taj Mahal and sweeping snow-capped views of Mt. Everest; portraits of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Hindu priests, snake charmers, and a Dandi (Kashmir); and views in rural Ceylon, including lush vegetation and old trees, religious temples and priests, and scenes of indigenous folks and their domiciles. Albumen prints, the images measuring 4x5¾ to 8½x11 inches (10.1x14.6 to 21.6x28. cm.), and the reverse, with more than 10 views by Scowen, 2 by Skeen, and 2 by Bourne & Shepherd.
