With 80 gravures and an original photograph of nude female figures posing in breaking waves as well as scenes of a beach in southern France. Heliogravures, the images measuring 6x9 to 12x19 inches (15.2x22.9 to 30.5x48.2 cm.), and the reverse; the silver print 11½x9½ inches (29.2x24.1 cm.), with Clergue's signature, in ink, on mount recto, enclosed in a folded sheet also with Clergue's signature, date, and inscription. Folio-sized clamshell box, blue cloth with a mounted photograph, light soiling and edgewear; the colophon with Clergue's signature and the edition notation 6/175; contents clean and bright.
