FELIX BONFILS (1831-1885) Album entitled Photographies de Terre Sainte by F.F. Marroum, Jerusalem. Including 48 richly printed photographs depicting ancient and holy ruins throughout Ramallah, Jaffa, Damascus, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem. Also with depictions of local life, scenic views, and architectural interiors, as well as 6 portraits. Albumen prints, the images measuring 9x11 1/8  inches (22.9x28.3 cm.), and the reverse, mounted recto/verso, nearly all with Bonfils' scripted credit and a caption, in the negative. Oblong folio, leather-backed carved wooden covers with the cross of Jerusalem. 1870s
