(COMPLETE X-RAY & DARKROOM PROCEDURE) A step-by-step album with 31 photographs compiled by Alana Scott, a trainee dental assistant, illustrating the process of administering an oral X-ray, and developing the film in a darkroom.
The narrative and informative album portrays two women, each sporting period hairstyles and horn-rimmed glasses in direct"factual" photographs, and accompanied by a light-hearted instructive caption beneath. One reads "give a woman patient a tissue to remove lipstick," while others also describe the processes in an equally immediate manner. Silver prints, the images measuring 3½ inches (8.9 cm.) square, cornered recto only to black pages, each with a lengthy typed caption cornered beneath. 4to, yellow boards with a typed title label; dossier style binding.
