(VIETNAM WAR) CHARLES EGGESTON; NIK WHEELER Group of more than 45 dramatic press photographs by two prominent photojournalists related to the conflict in North and South Vietnam, including paratroopers aiding comrades and U.S. Marines engaged in the Battle at Hue, Hamburger Hill, Rev. Coffin greeting captured American pilots in Hanoi, William Calley, Jr. (My Lai Massacre), soldiers in the A Shau Valley, Vietnamese rangers in action, and fleeing Vietnamese civilians.
Ferrotyped silver prints, the images measuring approximately 7¾x9½ inches (19.7x24.1 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, most with mimeographed captions, news agency hand stamps, and/or notations, on verso; 18 by Eggleston and 6 by Wheeler. 1968-72
