With crisp professional captures of roadside metal masses throughout Ohio and Indiana. Many are photographed in a way that highlight the abstracted forms of these ad lib American assemblages; while others show the smoking, steaming scenes in the moments post smash-up. Silver prints, the images mostly measuring 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), some slightly smaller, many with a photographer's hand stamp on verso. 1940s-50s
