Album of 55 photographs, including 51 snow crystals, 2 landscapes, a frost study, and a jewel-like spider web. Silver prints, most of the images measuring approximately 3 inches (7.6 cm.) in diameter, the remaining images and sheets 3x4 inches (7.6x10.2 cm.); cornered in one per page. Oblong 8vo, patterned cloth covers; tied binding; with a former owner's inscription, in pencil, on the first page, three mounted snow-themed poems introducing the photographs, and additional period ephemera related to Bentley and the study of snow laid in at the rear. 1888-1927
