Two complete sets (with a total of 129 photographs) of women's wrestling from the visionary company California Amazon, founded by Judell du Long, featuring her and other wrestlers.
The sets include the 1976 matches Judell du Long vs. Margo Gowan (62 photographs) and Nancy Lee Skarvan vs. Robin Torberg (66 photographs plus one bonus print). Each set is accompanied by the original colorful description of the fight with image-by-image captions. Chromogenic prints, the images each measuring approximately 5x3½ inches (12.7x8.9 cm.), and the reverse, each with a number in the negative, the "extra" print with one of du Long's hand stamps on verso. 1979
WITH--A series of ephemeral materials, including a California Supreme "menu" of 8mm movies, picture sets, and cartoons, all available for ordering; a cartoon featuring a blonde who is "cornered by the dark haired girl in the showers and challenged...;" a cartoon titled "Topless Girl Wrestlers;" another called "College Girls" by Ron; and the last "Miss Germany vs. Sheri Witlow."
