An comprehensive collection with over 250 topographic real photo postcards surveying all-American Victorian homes.
Many include period features such as wooden siding, bay windows, turrets, wrap-around porches, picket fences, ornate columns, and decorative trim. A few of the houses appear to be situated on farmlands, complete with barns, windmills, and weather vanes. Silver prints on carte-postale paper (257), the images measuring approximately 3½x5½ inches (8.9x14 cm.), some with captions, in pencil or ink, on verso, others postally unused. Circa 1907-20s
