Showing a varied array of offensive and defensive players as they play and practice football for different top universities around the country, including Northwestern, St. Mary's College, Stanford, Dartmouth, Princeton, and others. Players are depicted both in the heat of the moment and in humorous poses. Silver press prints, the images measuring 4½x3½ to 8x10 inches (11.5x8.9 to 20.3x25.4 cm.), with liberally applied period retouching paint on recto, and each with numerous press and date hand stamps, caption labels, and notations, in pencil, on verso. 1920s-40s
