Album containing 62 photographs of the Lower East Side by an unidentified photographer who has a keen eye for street culture.
With bustling scenes of fashionably dressed pedestrians who are set into relief against street peddlers, pictures of bearded Jews, lyrical views of the East River, and marvelous bird's-eye views of skyscrapers. Silver prints, the images measuring 4x3 inches (10.2x7.6 cm.), the sheets slightly larger, mounted recto/verso. Oblong 4to, leatherette with a polychromatic painting of birds in flight. 1926
