A group of approximately 30 mugshots, including some Latino and African American men, from the 1940s and earlier.
Comprised of offenders from both the East and West coasts of the United States, most accused of crimes of robbery, theft, and fraud, with the occasional assault or "sodomy" charge. Silver (28), albumen (4), and printing-out paper (one) prints, the images measuring 5½x4 inches (14x10.2 cm.), and smaller, and the reverse, 5 on mounts measuring slightly larger, 19 on mounts measuring 6x5½ inches (15.2x14 cm.), most with printed, typed, or handwritten notations, in ink, on mount recto and verso, or on print or mount verso. 1910s-40s
