A mini-archive with 43 photographs pertaining to the R.S. Newbold & Son Company of Norristown, PA, documenting vast metal components manufactured by the company for production of large scale machinery.
Comprised of many views of warehouse interiors with partially built equipment, and individual large components photographed in front of greas covered backdrop sheets, many of which brandish the company name molded, on a plaque, or even hand written directly onto the metal surface. One image depicts a railroad flat car outside the factory with a large company banner hung on its side. Silver prints, the images measuring 7½x9½ inches (19.1x24.1 cm.), a few with engineering notations, in pencil, on verso. 1920s
