A compelling collection with more than 120 real-photo postcards portraying families of homesteaders posed proudly before their homes.
With images of individuals, couples, and entire families standing tall on their porches, behind their picket fences, and seated on their lawns; all in front of Edwardian style (mostly) clapboard houses. Silver prints on postcard paper, the images measuring approximately 3½x5 inches (8.9x12.7 cm.), many with captions, in pencil or ink, on verso, others postally unused. Circa 1910s
