With 15 crisp photographs depicting various facets of the once energetic trackside livestock market including cattle pens (both empty and full); examinations by cattlemen; crammed rail yards packed with billowing steam trains; nearby factories, packing companies, and the Stock Yards National Bank Silver; and a gang-like group portrait of well-weathered Brakemen at the Yard Master's office. Silver prints, the images measuring 4½x6½ inches (11.4x16.5 cm.), tipped to heavy grey pages, a third with an identifying arrow, in ink, on the image, and each with a detailed typed caption on page recto. 4to, paper covers with a handwritten title; split-pin binding.
