Group of 120 prints relating to Civil Rights and Black Power activists and events. With images of Ralph Abernathy, Huey Newton, Bobby Seale, Bobby Rush, Stokely Carmichael, Malcolm X, and demonstrations and protests in the South and Northeast.
Silver prints, the images measuring 6x8 to 8x10 inches (15.2x20.3 to 20.3x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, many are wire service photographs with captions on recto, and most with date stamps and caption information, in pencil, on verso. 1961-70s
