A group of 13 photographs of women working in industrial settings.
Some are counting and sorting cardboard, others stamping or welding metal components, and still others staffing the first-aid ward in a cigar factory. Ferrotyped silver prints, the images measuring approximately 8x10 inches (20.3x25.4 cm.), and the reverse, some with typed captions, on recto or verso, and 8 with Women's Bureau U.S. Department Of Labor hand stamps, some with the photographer or studio hand stamp, and some with a caption, in pencil, in an unknown hand, on verso. 1930s
