Album with 87 Polaroids taken by a soldier during the Vietnam War.
The photographs capture daily life as a G.I. in Vietnam from sun-bathing and beer drinking on the beach to gambling in the barracks. Also depicted are various landscapes, and portraits of locals and fellow soldiers dressed in military attire and everyday drab. Type 100 Polaroids, color (79) and black and white (8), the images measuring 3¼x4¼ inches (8.3x10.8 cm.), and the reverse; in a later black leatherette binder with the original partial index mounted to the inside front cover; housed in a custom slipcase with a gilt-lettered title label. 1968-69
