(INDUSTRY) An album with nearly 200 World War II-era photographs related to Newton Machinery.
Includes imagery of the machines "in situ:" on the floor or with workers posed around or using the works, as well as isolated on the page, all pertaining to a variety of industries and uses. The location of the machines is international, including the (then) U.S.S.R., Brazil, and the U.S. Silver prints, the images measuring 9½x7½ inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), and the reverse, the sheets slightly larger, nearly all with a typed caption on verso with the name of the Newton machine, the date, and inventory numbers, some also including the location. 4to, leatherette with a twin-bolt binding, with a Newton label on the spine. 1940-44
