A carefully and chronologically organized album compiled by a traveler; the majority of the photographs featuring cities in Florida, California, Texas and Georgia. Includes photographs of African American men and women picking cotton, Florida orange groves, bird's-eye views of towns and rural landscapes, the Spanish moss-lined streets of Savannah, street views of San Francisco's Chinatown, and an image of the Alamo in San Antonio. Some of the photographs captioned with specific individuals' houses. Albumen prints, the images measuring 3½x3 to 8x9¾ inches (8.9x7.6 to 20.3x24.8 cm.), and the reverse, a quarter of the images with various photographers' studio credits, the location, and/or an inventory notation, in the negative, and the remaining with location captions, in ink, on the album pages.
