Offered more than 450 Vintage Posters, which include wonderful assortments of Hebraica & Judaica, Dartmouth Winter Carnival, Ski, Circus, and Mather Work Incentive Posters.

The sale opened with more than 70 posters of Judaic or Israeli interest. These included a rare Canadian version of The Jews the World Over, a call to enlist to fight in World War I, circa 1917, $3,600 (see top illustration); and a poster for the first Maccabiah games in Israel, $5,520 (second illustration).

From the desert to the ski slopes, the sale also offered an excellent selection of American and international ski posters. American highlights included many for Sun Valley Idaho, such as a color photomontage of Gretchen Fraser, winner of the 1948 Winter Olympics Women's Slalom on the slopes, $3,840 (third illustration); and among the international selection is Roger Broders's action-packed St. Gervais-Les-Bains, Paris, circa 1930, $5,760 (fourth illustration).

Other sale highlights included several Mather Work Incentive Posters, designed to promote efficiency and productivity in the workplace, for example, Think “I” and You Work Alone, Chicago, 1925, $3,600 (see last illustration).
