A brilliant, well-inked and early impression of this very scarce engraving. Bartsch 31. [1,200/1,800] 59  ENEA VICO (after Raphael) Tarquinius and Lucretia . Engraving, circa 1545. 285x415 mm; 11 1 / 4 x16 1 / 4 inches, thread margins. Anchor in a circle watermark (Briquet 454 and following, which date from the late 1400s/early 1500s).
