Condition B+: tear from upper edge into image; tears, creases and minor losses in margins; puncture in upper left image; creases along vertical and horizontal folds. Paper. Little biographical data exists on Wagner, but he is known to have designed a number of posters between the 1930s and 1950s. This geometrically-influenced image, which plays with the different hues of winter colors, is one of his most inspired designs. Many of his later images take on a quality of almost cartoon-like illustration. This is the French version.
