One of two images involving a family and an impressive German ocean liner. Here, they are preparing to board the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse , which was launched on May 4, 1897. So large was the network of agents selling tickets for Norddeutscher Lloyd Bremen vessels, that various versions of this poster exist with such diverse locations as Alger and Luzern overprinted in the area at the bottom.
