This photomontage of riders eating, relaxing and reclining within one of the New Haven Railroad’s trains, quite literally shows the amenities of traveling by rail, within a low monetary figure. Pictured in the montage is an I-5 Class Hudson locomotive, of which the railroad purchased ten in 1937.
