comprising a pretty hand-painted vase with a portrait of a wealthy couple (stamped with
Photographe Carlsbad); a small pitcher with a transfer portrait of a policeman; a pipe enhanced with
a picture of children; a graduated tile highlighted with a study of an august gentleman who’s sporting
muttonchop whiskers (and is stamped A. C. Anger, Carlsbad); and a figurine known as “The Magic
Lanternist,” which was fabricated in Samson, England. 1890s

Cotton cyanotype pillow case with 12 views depicting an American small town.The summertime
prints include a July 4th parade, with townspeople lining the streets, a float of dancing girls, a horse-
drawn wagon draped in flags, and baby lambs, as well as street scenes in the snow and more.
Cyanotypes, each print measures approximately 3x4 inches (7.6x10.2 cm.), overall size 15 inches
(38.1 cm.) square. Circa 1900
