hinges cracked, front free endpaper (with
short closed tear), half-title and fron-
tispiece loose; bookplates of A. Edward
Newton and John Hooper; in drop-back
cloth case. Includes a laid-in card stating
that this copy sold as part of the Newton
Collection (April 18, 1941; Parke-Bernet,
