prints, 101/4x131/4 and 93/4x101/4 inches (26x33.7 and 24.8x33.7 cm.), each with Morgan’s signature
and title, in pencil, on mount recto, and Morgan’s signature, initials, her notations “Archivally
Printed—1976,” and copyright hand stamps, on mounts verso, and a full inscription to her friend,
in ink, also on mount verso of the first print. 1940 and 1965; printed 1976 [4,000/6,000]
The prints were gifted by Morgan to her college friend, Margaret Jones McMaster, and subsequently
descended to her daughter, Jean Margaret McMaster McClintic, in 1976. A photostatic copy of
McClintic’s letter accompanies each print.
