This notable and charming photograph shows children watching the story of “Saint George and the
Dragon.” According to his biographer, “Eisie had crouched down in front of the children, who became
so emotionally involved in the play that, by the time the dragon was slain, they were totally unaware of
the photographer’s presence.”
