“Bøgelund worked in many styles and is perhaps the most versatile and prolific of Danish poster
artists. His diverse talents and long career certainly make him one of the most interesting of Danish
artists; he designed posters for Tivoli for nearly 50 years, from 1911 until 1958.” (Turner-Dailey, np).
Here, we can see the influence of German graphic design in Bøgelund’s use of flat planes of color, but
he adds his own special touch with the multiple layers of depth.
