This poster and the previous lot have traditionally been dated to circa 1914. A more exact date would
be 1915, as it was this year when the Fokker Eindecker was developed and entered into military ser-
vice. The planes were so successful that Anthony Fokker himself bought the factory in 1916 to ensure
a steady and continuous production of the engines for his aircraft. Here, two servicemen are examin-
