Portfolio titled “Times Square 1940: A Paper Movie,” containing 18 photographs of the people
and architecture of the NewYork City landmark. Silver prints, each 12x9 inches (30.5x22.9 cm.),
and the reverse, flush mounted, each with Stoumen’s signature and edition notation 20/25, in pencil,
on print recto, and with a printed portfolio label with the title, dates, and negative number, in pencil,
on mount verso; each print housed in an individual folder with a printed caption. Small folio, brown-
stamped silver clamshell box; with the title and colophon pages, one with Stoumen’s signature and
